Safeguarding

Stocksbridge Nursery Infant School is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for children, staff and visitors and promoting a climate where children and adults will feel confident about sharing any concerns which they may have about their own safety or the well -being of others.

Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone in our school community however key roles are:

  • The Designated Safeguarding Leader at Stocksbridge Nursery Infant School is Jane Townsend, the Head Teacher.
  • The Designated Safeguarding Deputies are Rob Barker, the Assistant Headteacher and SENCO, and Carly Redgate, our Safeguarding Liaison Officer.
