As part of our Megastructure learning, we had a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It was very cold and snowy, but absolutely beautiful. The sculptures were great and the children enjoyed looking at them and making their own .

As part of our Golden Time activities on a Friday, we take some children over to our local residential home, Alpine Lodge. Amongst the range of activities, the children do with the residents, reading to them is a firm favourite.

Around the world in 80 days. We were lucky enough to have a visit from Amy Johnson, the first woman to fly solo from London to Australia. We put on our hats and goggles and off we flew. Fantastic.
