Over the last couple of weeks the children have performed 5 wonderful nativities. Each nativity has been different, special and wonderful. Our Nursery children performed in their very first nativity with children reciting lines, acting out their parts and singing lovely traditional songs. Classes 6, 7 & 8 sang their little hearts out. They had learnt the makaton signs to all the songs too. Joseph wasn’t keen on holding Mary’s hand, but she insisted. Children in Classes 2 & 3 delivered a top drawer performance of a very complicated nativity but they did so well. Finally, Classes 1 & 5 gave it their all performing A Midwife Crisis. In the end, everyone listened to Steve the Donkey and he was delighted when his cousin Nigel turned up. Four very different, but truly wonderful, nativities.
