Welcome to Year One/Two

The emphasis in Year One and Year Two is to follow the Key Stage One Curriculum, which focuses on the development of the individual child and provides high quality learning opportunities for the children to learn through play. The children are able to explore, take risks, have fun, form friendships, think critically and form their own ideas.

‘Tinkering’ with bee-bots

Class 2 have enjoyed using the bee-bots to learn all about programming and debugging. They had challenges to complete by giving the bee-bot a set of instructions to land in the correct place. Class 2 have wrote commands, directed a bee-bot and worked as a team.
