We’ve had a fantastic week in school where children have decided what they would like to raise funds for, planned an enterprise event, invited parents, promoted it, run the event, counted the proceeds and ordered their chosen items. The children have ‘flexed’ many enterprise skills through their collaborative discussions with talking partners such as leadership skills, teamwork, negotiating and planning as well as decision making and problem-solving. We’ve also had lots of fun developing all of these life skills – can you tell?
Our grown-ups have been amazing and there was a lovely ‘buzz’ around school which we have certainly missed!
